CRESTED SAGUARO IN SAGUARO NATIONAL PARK - EAST

This crested saguaro was spotted during my hike today on the Garwood Trail.  Crested saguaros are one in about 10,000 saguaros. It is a scientific mystery what causes the beautiful fan-like form at the growing tip.
