Reddington Pass runs between the Catalina Mts. and the Rincon Mts in Tucson. The Arizona Trail traverses the north-south length of the state from the international border to the Utah border.
Our section of the trail cut through Juniper and Mesquite grassland.
Birds were plentiful with sightings of kestrel, western bluebirds, savannah sparrows, spotted towhees, and green-tailed towhees.
